FAQ & Shipping
Everything you need to know about our packaging, shipping, condition standards, and policies.
Our Packaging Protocol
Cards are protected using condition-appropriate multi-layer packaging. Every order is documented in photos for chain-of-custody. Shipments are handled with care appropriate to value — high-ticket items ship fully insured with signature confirmation. This isn't a nice-to-have; it's the Outpost standard.
Shipping & Packaging
How do you package orders?
Every order is protected using condition-appropriate multi-layer packaging. Singles are placed in sleeves and top-loaders (or card savers for higher-value cards), then secured in a team bag and sandwiched between rigid cardboard. Sealed product is bubble-wrapped and boxed. Graded slabs are bubble-wrapped and shipped in sturdy boxes with filler to prevent movement.
Do you document shipments?
Yes — every order is documented in photos before it ships. This creates a chain-of-custody record that protects both buyer and seller. For high-value orders, we include additional documentation and ship fully insured.
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping takes 3-5 business days within the US. Expedited options are available at checkout. You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is on our roadmap — we want to ensure we have the right packaging and tracking infrastructure in place before expanding. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
Condition & Grading
What do your condition abbreviations mean?
NM (Near Mint): Minimal to no wear, sharp corners, clean edges. LP (Lightly Played): Minor wear visible on close inspection — light corner whitening or edge wear. MP (Moderately Played): Visible wear — corner whitening, edge wear, or light surface scratches. HP (Heavily Played): Significant wear — visible damage, creasing, or heavy surface scratching. DMG (Damaged): Major damage — creases, tears, or heavy wear.
Can I request additional photos before purchasing?
Absolutely. If you'd like to see additional angles or close-ups of a specific area, contact us and we'll provide them. Transparency is core to what we do — we want you to buy with full confidence.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery only for items that don't match the condition described in their listing — verified against the documentation photos we take before every item ships. Beyond that, all sales are final: we don't accept returns for buyer's remorse or a change of mind. Any sign that an item's protective packaging was tampered with or its contents substituted voids return eligibility. Contact us to initiate a return.
How do refunds work?
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund within 3-5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Selling & Consignment
How does selling to you work?
Submit your cards through our Sell to Us page with details about the cards, condition, and asking price. We'll review your submission and respond within 48 hours with a purchase offer or consignment terms. You decide whether to proceed — no obligation.
What's the difference between direct purchase and consignment?
Direct purchase: we buy your cards outright at an agreed price — fast payment, immediate transfer. Consignment: we list your cards in the vault and you receive a percentage of the sale price — higher potential returns, but takes longer. We'll recommend the best option based on your cards.
What types of cards do you buy?
We source high-quality Pokémon singles (NM and above preferred), graded slabs (PSA, CGC, Beckett/BGS, AGS, TAG, and other major grading services), sealed product (factory-sealed only), and curated bulk lots. We're open to other TCGs as well — just ask.
